warm, knit blanket part 2

one of my favorite knitting and sewing blogs is, the purl bee. i've found numerous adorable and easy projects there. i came across the following picture and thought i'd show you what this project will end up looking like.

the colors i chose are different and the border will be a bit thicker, but isn't this a cute and simple baby blanket? i have 2-3 skeins more to knit on mine so just a while longer.

Krystal, I went to this new website of yours one day while I was looking at your family one and enjoyed your crafts that you keep track of. Right after I had looked at this I was working on a quilt that I had been making for my sons bedroom. I had been machine quilting it and it was bunching on the back looking terrible and I was not happy with how it was turinging out. All of the sudden in my mind I could see the quilt that you had made William with the hand stitching and I knew that is what I had to do for my blanket. Thank you for the inspiration. I'll have to take a picture of it and show it to you when it is done. Thanks!
